Since the day the boys were born I have been talking about losing weight. Not only do I still have baby weight to lose, but I wasn’t at my goal weight when I became pregnant with them. The problem however, I’m all talk and haven’t taken any action yet.
This is the year though. I have set goals, made plans, and have begun working my way to shedding the extra weight. And, if you don’t know already, I had Lap-Band surgery almost 4 years ago to get this weight off. And it’s not that my band hasn’t worked for me, it has. I lost over 100 lbs prior to becoming pregnant with the boys.
I’m irritated with myself for allowing the baby weight to stay on for the last 18 months. I’m irritated that I didn’t get further in my weight loss goals before becoming pregnant. But, mostly, I’m just irritated with myself. And all this is now fueling my efforts. The extra weight has got to go.
For me though, losing weight has nothing to do with how I look. I have learned, since I’ve been heavy my entire life, how to be confident at any weight. For me it’s about the health benefits to having a smaller waistline. It’s also about playing with my kids at the park, chasing them around, and living long enough to see great-grandchildren.
I want that life.
But, I’m not interested in trying every gimmick out there just to achieve my goals. I want this to be natural and healthy because I already took the UN-natural and drastic step to having weight loss surgery. And it’s the only extra tool that I need.
However, since I have begun working out of the home I am exhausted. There isn’t enough time for sleep with school activities, taking care of the kids and house, and twins! Geez. I have my moments of wishing I could sleep until it is time to get ready for work. It doesn’t happen though and I need a boost. So, when I was presented with the opportunity to try FitTea which has all natural ingredients, energy boosting properties along with the added value of helping to lose weight, I knew I’d be in!

How to Make FitTea
It is suggested that FitTea is enjoyed in the morning or immediately following a good workout. I initially tried FitTea as a hot drink, but as our days began to warm up I was more tempted to try it cold. What I discovered is that I love the taste of it cold. It is so refreshing and unlike a lot of teas, doesn’t have a dry feeling.
To make a single cup I place about 1 tablespoon of the loose leaf tea in my infuser and let steep for several minutes.
While steeping I add about a half teaspoon of honey to sweeten it up a bit.
When it’s done steeping, I pour it over ice in my new FitTea squeeze bottle and enjoy.
It’s been a great drink for me to carry off to work and enjoy while cruising down the freeway.

I have not completed the full 28 day detox yet, so I don’t have much to report. However, I enjoy the tea a lot and appreciate the taste. The capsules seem to suppress my appetite which is great because I tend to want to snack while at work. Once I have completed the full 28 detox, I’ll be sure to report my progress and what FitTea did for me!
